Our Families & Friends We know that our child will be as valued and cherished by our families and friends as we have been. We were both raised in stable, supportive and loving families. Both our parents are still married and still live in the homes where we grew up, although you could say there are some differences between the farm in Indiana and suburban London! We enjoy going back a few times a year to visit Randall’s family in the Midwest and we make at least one longer trip a year to England to spend time with Stuart’s family. We also like having our family and friends come visit us in Oakland. We’re really looking forward to hosting our families here some day for the holidays after we become parents. We are equally fortunate to have a strong sense of extended family here in the Bay Area. We consider our dear friends part of our "family of choice." They are a diverse group of wonderful people whom we have known for years. Our family and friends are all so excited about our becoming parents, and cannot wait to welcome our child with open arms.
